Junior year will be over and then I'll be a Senior, the best year yet. School will end @ 10:55 a.m on June 5th, 2015 and Freedom is mine. I will finally be getting my s6 Edge that I've been waiting months for and I will be working full-time at my job which means that all that money that I get goes into my savings account for the car that I plan on getting at the end of August. In early July, I will be going to a Barbershop Camp for Choir Nerds at CMU and I'm so excited to see the people that I miss so much that I still keep in touch with. Then I might go out of state, hopefully for about a week or so. Maybe on another cruise with my mom or just to Florida with some friends and their family. I'm just hoping that this will be on of my best summers because the rest have been awful.

I think it had more ups then downs which is what I always prefer. But everything is coming to an end for 3 months. The homework, annoying teachers, bullies, short vacations, tests, quizzes, everything! Prom is in 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my dress thanks to my mom who decided to wait until the last possible minute. But it's whatever I guess. This post is all about things from my Junior year. So it might be going quite a bit of different ways. Back to Prom, the theme 'Amour', you guessed it right, PARIS! 'The City of Love' as some call it and delicious bread. But I'm super excited because this will be my first Prom and my first time feeling gorgeous and stunning. I'm going to get a pedicure and do my own feet because I hate when people touch my feet, hair done, I don't like make-up so I guess that's it. Then there's Post Prom at OHS and people say that Post is the best part. Which makes me even more excited!

I'm a person of whom whose life revolves around music. Some people hate, while others love it to death. Music is all around us, and either it's your best friend or your enemy. But not only am I a person who loves music, I'm a person who loves pop music. Or down-with-the-funk type of music. I love to get up and dance anytime it is appropriate! Speaking of dancing, I have Just Dance 2, 3, 4, 2014, and 2015. I also have Black Eyed Peas Experience, Zumba, and many others. Image Credit: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1f/Feel_the_music.jpg Music is my Life. I can't go anywhere without listening to music. I walk up and down Okemos High School hallways with my Beats in my ear. I love all types of music except opear. I'd rather listen o classical rather than opera. Pop, Jazz, Other Language songs are the best! They have a certain beat and can be danced to by anyone, especially if you have no rhythm. I know a lot of people that don't know how to dance. This picture above shows a lot about my music personality. I love color, jumping, expressing myself, and I'm not anti-social. I love the majority of people! Plus, I have a knack for making people laugh, so I've been told. What is your music style??
Guys, I'm gonna be 17 years of age this coming Friday! I'm mostly excited because I can get my Level 3 License. Which means NO RESTRICTIONS!!!! Okay, so I've planned my whole day. I'm going to wake up at 5:20 take my dog Trouble outside and exercise with INSANITY; it really is insane, then I will take a nice 20 minute shower with some Bath and Body Works shower gel. I will get dressed in a cute outfit that my uncle Tyrone just bought yesterday :-) And use the perfume and lotion that my mom bought me for Valentine's Day, it's called 'Beautiful Day'. After that I will feed myself and Trouble. I will sit and chill until it's 7 and time for me to leave. Then, I'll start my 1st hour..... HA! Just joking, I won't be in my 1st 2nd, or maybe 3rd hours. In Choir, we have Festival where we go and sing 2 songs and then we go and sightread, then we go back to school. Yayyy, right............. no. After that's all over, I will proceed to my 4th hour with Señora Hiner, my Independent Study. During my 5th hour, I will be donating blood, which I have no problem with at all. Why not donate blood, that you don't really need right now. Then, it's time for 6th hour English, where we will be listening to 'Their Eyes Were Watching God'. I don't like the book, but I have no choice. FINALLY! School with be over, I want to go get a coffee after school with my friends. Then, I'll go home for a bit, do some homework, then refresh myself as if the day just started over again. My friends and I will go out to eat at Red Lobster maybe, then see a movie of my choice. There's a possibility of them spending the night, I don't know yet, but otherwise I have my whole day planned out. Hopefully, I'll get a lot of different birthday wishes from friends and friends of friends. I didn't get many last year, I felt a little ehh, because I remember everybody's birthdays.
I played many games multiple times and it was definitely worthwhile. I played a race car game with my Uncle and Brother-in-law, my brother won! I was like, noooooooooo! Hahaha, then my sister and I played tons of more games. We played the Giant Claw and won nothing. But overall it was a fun night and I would love to go again for my birthday next month. Going to Dave and Busters for the first time with my family was wonderful and I don't regret it for one second. Next week is Christmas and I'm so excited! I get to see my niece again and see my sister and her boyfriend's new house. They moved to Warren, Mi. As a teenager, over these past few weeks. I've learned to be as grateful as any child should with clothes on your back, food on the table, and a roof to live under. Plus, a few other things that you WANT, not need. Though my mom can be a little rude and so can I; I still love her until the world explodes and beyond. As a kid that has a whole lot compared to kids who don't have anything; I've just learned to give more than I receive. But anyway, I love to see everyone in my family so happy opening their presents. It's a joy that I've never seen before. Next Wednesday is Christmas Eve. The eve where you go caroling stay up all night, drink egg nog, watch Christmas Movies, open one present, and make a Gingerbread House! It's the night you have fun with your family and and your friends. Some of my favorite Christmas Movies are Elf, Home Alone, All of The Santa Claus', and many others. What are some of your Favorite movies?? I love to just sit there and laugh it all of. I get excited for a new year, I feel like 2014 was a good year, but 2015 will DEFINITELY be a much better year. The picture below is how my Family's Christmas will look <3 MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! Alright Guys! Thanksgiving break is officially over! It was a great time and I loved seeing my extended family and my nuclear family. When I woke up on Wednesday 26/11, I was quite excited if I do say so myself. I got to wake up at around 9 a.m. Which is great for me, because I'm an Insomniac and I already have trouble sleeping and waking up inn the middle of the night. But, it's better than being woken up by your mom at 5:30 a.m. and having her tell you that she's leaving. BUT, anyway, that day was productive, and then I woke up on Thursday and I got super excited! Because I was going to my family at my Auntie's house. Dinner was fantastic! I don't like turkey or ham, so I had everything else. My Aunt makes bangin' Mac N' Cheese :-) After dinner and dessert, my mom, her brother, and I left and were on our way home........................ Or so I thought.
Image Credit: jcdurbant.wordpress.com We went Black Friday shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall! We got there at round 11:30 p.m. It lasted from 6 p.m.-2 a.m. for the majority of the stores. All except Nautica, Ralph Lauren Polo, and Ann Taylor. They stayed open all day Friday. These stores are all competitors. When Nautica heard that RLP was staying open all day, they decided that they couldn't give them all of the business and money. After we left Nautica, we went to Toys R US and got my niece a toy, educational of course. And then we went to Famous Footwear, then Children's Place. After all of that we went home, I went to sleep at around 4 a.m., then woke up at 10 a.m. My mom came into my room and said come one, we're going Black Friday shopping again. So we left and then went to Bestbuy, Walmart, and Macy's. It was crowded everywhere! Anyway we shopped 'til we dropped! It was a bunch of fun <3 CHRISTMAS TIME IS ALMOST HERE! I love almost everything about Christmas time. I adore being able to see my family, having a great and delicious dinner with them, and getting presents. Hahaha, just a little bit ;-) I enjoy the decorations that I see in Downtown Lansing. It's beautiful down there around Christmas time. The lights, the Christmas trees, the gift wrapping, the decorating of the tree, and the unwrapping of the gifts. It's all honestly such a wonderful time. Speaking of gifts, Black Friday is next Friday, and I couldn't be more excited. Though I may not be going to Black Friday, I do get to see my niece. She is my bundle of joy. When I see her, I get just as excited now for Christmas as I was when I was a kid. Now, you have to realize that it's not about receiving the gifts. It's about giving back to the less fortunate, go buy a group of kids some toys and food, and they'll be happy for a long time. But you, just getting a gift from everyone, your happiness pfft, it won't even last a week. The more you give, the more you feel better about yourself. Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year. The carols you sing, the colors you wear for fun, the sales that are happening, the people you meet, the places you'll go, and the snow you'll shovel. Hahaha, it can't get any better than that. I love Christmas because I love the joy that you see in people and the happiness you feel everywhere. Just thinking about it gets my bells jingling! Image Credit: figurebikini.blogspot.com
Image Credit: bungalower.com This is Lake Eola in Orlando, Florida. That is one place that I've always wanted to go and have never been. I've been to Cozumel, Mexico, Canada, Italy, and about 1/4 of the states in America. But never have I ever been to Florida. I've always wanted to move there, California, British Virgin Islands, Hawaii, Mexico, almost anywhere but here, It is cold in Michigan. My friend actually moved to Tampa, Florida this summer. I still think that this is awesome and cool, I wish he would've taken me with him. I know that some Floridians would say, "don't move down here because we get tsunamis and floods, plus it's way too hot". But others would say, "dude, you've got to move down here, the weather is perfect and the guys are hot. It's not like we get floods and tsunamis every year, let alone everyday!". I would probably take the positive Floridians over the negative Floridians.
I'm always up to moving somewhere hot and to a place where I can understand the language. I do understand quite a lot of Spanish and I love to tan so Florida would actually be the perfect place for me. But one thing I hate is when people complain because their weather is 60 degrees. And I'm just thinking, have you ever been to Michigan!??! Our weather gets below 0, WE freeze our butts off! Sometimes I just get sad and wonder if we'll ever move there while I'm still in school. Do you see this picture above? I would imagine so, it's beautiful, I know with the fountain in the middle and the couple on a love ride. Life could not get better than that, right? Hahaha, one of the greatest pros that a parent will ever encounter is that houses are cheap. Around 50K for some new houses and a lot of people love to go to the gorgeous beaches on Christmas day. The weather is perfect, the drinks are cold, the water is warm, the food tastes delicious, and the fresh air is refreshing. I can just dream moving there........... well that dream died quickly. A girl can dream can't she. |
